Show Theme This year's show theme marks the 230th anniversary of the Tybee Island Lighthouse on the coast of Georgia near Savannah. The brick base of that original structure is incorporated into the present tower, which was restored in 1999. ![]() On June 13, 2003, the U.S. Postal Service released a set of five lighthouses along the coast of the Southeast from Florida to Virginia. First day of issue ceremonies for all five stamps were held at the Tybee Island Lighthouse, and this year's Peach State Stamp Show will honor Georgia's oldest lighthouse. ![]()
