Winner of the 2007 Rowland Hill Award
Award was accepted in his honor by his wife at the Awards Ceremony of the 2007 Southeastern Stamp Show. Click here for Press Release.
The Rowland Hill Award is named after Sir Rowland Hill, creator of the first postage stamp, and is awarded to the person that has done the most to further the hobby in the southeast.
The Southeast Federation of Stamp Clubs invites stamp collectors across the Southeast to attend Southeastern Stamp Show 2008. This year's show will be held Sept. 26-28 in the Cobb County Civic Center, which is located at 548 S. Marietta Parkway in historic Marietta, Ga. Southeastern Stamp Show is a full two-day APS national show.
Show hours are 10 am - 6 pm on Friday and Saturday (Sept. 26-27)
and 10 am - 4 pm on Sunday (Sept. 28).
Admission and parking are free. |

US Postal Service Philatelic Booth
The US Postal Service plans to have a philatelic booth open throughout the show featuring recent commemoratives, postal stationery, philatelic souvenirs, and other postal items. |
Youth Activities
An adult-supervised youth area will be open after school on Friday, and all day on Saturday.
There will be fun galore, with activities to not only keep kids busy but also to provide an introduction to the hobby of stamp collecting.
