The club has been in continuous operation
for more than 30 years. Participation by stamp collectors
of all ages is encouraged, and visitors are welcome! The
Montgomery Area Stamp Club meets every second and fourth
Thursday (except November and December) at 7:00 p.m. at
the Crump
Community Center, 1735 Highland Avenue, Montgomery,
Alabama. (There is no fourth Thursday meetings in November
or December because of holidays.) The first meeting of the
month is allocated to programs or swap 'n shop sessions,
and the second meeting of the month is auction night. Visitors
are welcome to bid on auction items, but only members in
good standing may place items up for auction.
Membership
Individual/family membership in the Montgomery
Area Stamp Club is $10 per year, payable in September for
the following year. Membership benefits include the monthly
newsletter (surface mail or e-mail), voting privileges,
auction privileges, and access to the APS circuit books.
